RIDER RIGHTS
Says Adrienne Yentis
A friend of mine recently was riding on the heath
and she came across a group of cattle strung out across the bridlepath with no way through – the only way off was to turn round. Fortunately her horse
remained calm throughout. But you can imagine how a nervous horse might react ........... read more

Land Registry replies to www.horseytalk.net: Contact The Association of Common Registration Authorities.
Hi Peter
I found this link http://archive.defra.gov.uk/rural/protected/commonland/reg-authority.htm#search
which might be useful.
I used the map search on Find a Property and found a freehold Land at Prees Heath Common Prees Heath, Whitchurch. You would have to purchase the title in order to find out the current registered proprietor.
If the Map enquiry is not successful, we keep a computerised Index Map, based on the Ordnance Survey map, which provides an index of the land in every registered title. Any person may apply for an official Search of the Index Map (SIM) to be certain whether or not a property is registered. The certificate of result will show whether or not the land searched is registered, the title numbers that affect it and the type of registration that has been disclosed. You can request a SIM by completing this form and posting it to us. Click here to find the address of the Land Registry office to send it to. There is a fee for this service.
Best wishes
