Says Naomi SmithIt is all too possible to round a corner on horseback and come upon a group of cattle with no prior warning -this WILL result in a horse being badly spooked at best, bolting at worst -it is only a matter of time ........... read more

HORSES SEIZED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT BY BAILIFFS ACTING FOR BRIGHTON AND HOVE COUNCIL

"Danny''s love and dedication goes far beyond anything I have ever seen or witnessed before and I doubt I will ever again , horses are his heartbeat and the air he breathes , he has only wanted the best for his horses . Danny is loved by us all at the yard and the villagers of Stanmer and most importantly by his horses "

Says Lesley Davis

I have known Danny for roughly two and a half years has 30 yrs experience of owning horses.,

Over the last couple of years Danny has been victimised , his phone hacked , and loads of tack stolen, also he has been followed and his CCTV hacked therefore never recording at the time of thefts on his yard in the morning when he checked his CCTV there was a gap in the recodings so we could not detect who had been on the yard at these times , also we have had new horse rugs slashed with a knife whilst on his horses and we always reported these incidences to the police. Danny always does 2- 3 yard checks every night to make sure all his horses are okay often as I am a bad sleeper I have spoken to Danny in the early hours to find he is at the yard It is very strange that the only night he wasn't able to do a yard check was last Monday as he was at the hospital in Eastbourne as his partner was having an operation for prostate cancer and to take them at 1.00am is despicable as many of his horses would of had to have been drugged as some were difficult to load on to a trailer even in daylight .Tobias who is blind must have been frightened and traumatised as were the others . I am a friend of the late Joanna Price and Susan and Crichton Casbon and they all knew Danny's horses were well looked after and that there has never been an issue with the horses welfare .I know his horses personally were brought in for short feed and were hay fed 3 times a day , also there was also a big round bale of hay in each of the 3 fields so his horses were never ever hungry .sometimes his short feed was tampered with and we replaced it straight away .

The fields were really used for leg stretching as the horses are hay fed , the field grass was kept short for a reason as some of his rescues came with laminitis and since cured he has never had a horse suffer with this crippling condition .

Danny has dedicated his life for the welfare of his horses and nothing is ever comprised where they are concerned ., he has a huge following on his web page Facebook/ Stanmer Horses We had to one night get the fire brigade out as he had his water supply turned off and they had to fill their troughs and stables from the water hydrant in the street , we have found lime hydrate in an open barn which had been sprinkled in the stables and again the fire brigade were called and the trace came from a barn owned by the council the fire brigade then had to seal off as it is highly dangerous and toxic with tape and no one was allowed in and the council had to come and clear it Danny's love and dedication goes far beyond anything I have ever seen or witnessed before and I doubt I will ever again , horses are his heartbeat and the air he breathes , he has only wanted the best for his horses . Danny is loved by us all at the yard and the villagers of Stanmer he most importantly by his horses .

Says Linda WrightWe moved to a Shropshire location a year ago having surveyed the local OS map and noted the significant number of bridleways around the property. Sadly the map appears a total fiction. Scarce any of the bridleways are usable ........... read more
