Ministry of Defence Land

Tony Barnett comments

"It is not true that land owned by the MOD is common land"

Says Tony Barnett

Says Tony BarnettIt is not true that land owned by the MOD is common land, all land owned by the MOD was at one time agriculture/commercial land, either compulsory purchased or through other conveyance procedures.

So the land they own, they own, how they use/lease or make other grants of easement to the land is for the secretary of state to determine, even to regulating any steel road use that passes through part of the land property.

NONE ownership of common land by the MOD has been well established, it is silly to go on about common land being owned by the MOD, it is there for it to be used as and when for as long as it is required by the secretary of state through requisition, yet BHS,Ramblers or anyother pretentious organisation will insist that rights of way through MOD real-estate is guaranteed, then try forcing your way through,?

Section 193 on MOD owned or requisition land, has no jurisdiction and it is unwise to keep pushing the same old chestnut around.
