Are riders allowed on Tadley Common, Hampshire?

Tony Barnett writes to the Town Clerk, Tadley Town Council

Says Tony Barnett

Says Tony Barnett I am making inquiries into the claimed ownership of Tadley Common as is claimed by Turbary charity in the area.

I have had dialect with a lady today  claiming the charity does  own the common and as such have jurisdiction on all matters to include denying rights of access on horses.

My request therefore is documentary evidence (pre-registration of title deeds to pre-date Quo Warranto 1189 together with evidence to show that the common land was registered for the 1925 and 1936 lands registration Acts as freehold), also copies of any claims by the 1832 Prescription Act and of the 1899 commons Act.

As the land is a registered common I would ask for copies of other rights ie commoners and any decision made by the Commons Commissioner for the 1965 CRA and if any were made  in 1974 as to the status of Tadley Common

Conveyance documents are not valid without pre-registration of title deeds,

Please may I have a copy of  the definitive plan and statement of the area?
