Says Craig Weatherhill That's par for the course for modern officialdom, Tony. It is intimidation - playground bullying - pure and simple. The amount of public money being wasted by their indefensible attitude and actions doesn't bear thinking about (although the Audit Commissioner might take an interest).

WCC officers seem to forget (in line with all too many of their ilk) that their function is to SERVE the public, who pay them to do so, not to rule or dictate to them.
