The BHS and Maureen Comber

How the BHS treats somebody who has been a loyal, dedicated and hard-working member for over 50 years.

DAY 20

It is now 20 days since the BHS shamefully dismissed Maureen Comber after more than 50-years of dedicated and hard-working service.

Maureen ComberStill no regret.

Still no sympathy.

Still no apology.

How long can the BHS continue to behave in this disgraceful manner?

Other hard-working BHS members and volunteers beware. This is obviously the way you are going to be treated one day.

Big differences exposed in letters from BHS officials

One official asks Maureen if she would like to remain as Access and Bridleways Officer.

Another official tells Maureen she has been forbidden to do any voluntary work for the BHS.

Read the letters for yourself.

On June 27 2014 Mark Weston, BHS Director of Access, Safety and Welfare
wrote to Maureen Comber

..... I would ask that you inform me if you have any further concerns, and whether you wish to continue as an Access and Bridleways Officer......

On July 16 2014 Claire Alridge, BHS Chairman, wrote to Maureen Comber telling her that she had been forbidden to do ANY voluntary work whatsoever for BHS.

Does this mean the lefthand does not know what the righthand is doing ?

Does this mean there is no communication between BHS officials?

Does this mean the BHS Director of Access, Safety and Welfare was over-ruled by the BHS Chairman?

Even worse, adding insult to injury, even though Maureen has been sacked and forbidden to work for the BHS, they have still not returned any part of her membership fee.

HOW MUCH WORSE CAN THEY GET ?

Other hard-working BHS members and volunteers beware. This is obviously the way you are going to be treated one day

Says Linda Wright

Says Linda WrightWe moved to a Shropshire location a year ago having surveyed the local OS map and noted the significant number of bridleways around the property. Sadly the map appears a total fiction. Scarce any of the bridleways are usable ........... read more
